The Opal Story

This boulder opal from Australia has a natural ironstone backing with vivid flashes of electric blue, violet/purple, aqua, lime green and orange that shift and dance across the surface. The play of colour is bold and bright, broad flash patterns with directional colour bars that fire as you move the stone. It's got that iridescent, almost holographic quality where multiple colours light up at once. The natural ironstone base gives it depth and contrast, making the colors pop even more.
